Stranded lobster found dead

Mickey, the lobster found by the Lincoln Country Humane Society, has died.

It was found in a restaurant parking lot in St Catharines. The executive director of the humane society says he suspects it was part of an April Fool’s Day prank.

Sad news, Mickey the Lobster has died, he died in peace and quiet over night, but had 3 offers to fly out east. Thanks for the well wishes.

The society tweeted that Mickey died in peace and quiet overnight. They say he had received three offers from people to fly him out east, back to the ocean.

The lobster even had its own parody Twitter account.
