52 women have been nominated for this year’s Women of Distinction awards in Hamilton. They have been nominated for 12 categories ranging from “young woman of distinction” to “lifetime achievement.”

Denise Doyle, CEO of YWCA Hamilton, points out what an achievement it is to win the award.

“We are inspired by these women and all women who keep blazing new trails for leadership and change.”

The awards are nationally recognized as of one of the most prestigious awards for women. They recognize women who have broken new and old barriers paving the way for women today. The winners will be announced April 24.
