Foreign buyers make up less than 5% of home sales in Ontario

Finance Minister Charles Sousa says that out of 18,282 homes sold, 859 or 4.7% were bought by foreigners. The news comes as the GTA’s market is cooling off, but realtor’s in the area say it’s happening on it’s own and that the province’s foreign buyer’s tax has little to do with it.
