Boy, 4, sought in Amber Alert found safe in Ottawa

A young boy and his mother who were the subject of an Amber Alert have been found safe in the Ottawa area. 

A police spokeswoman said the mother was arrested and the boy was placed in the care of relatives.

Quebec provincial police had issued an Amber Alert for the four-year-old boy from Saint-Jerome, Que. Wednesday.
