City of Burlington to offer free parking in December

The City of Burlington will offer free parking throughout the month of December in city-owned lots and on-street parking in downtown Burlington.

“The holidays are a great time of year to enjoy all of what Burlington’s downtown has to offer,” said Vito Tolone, the city’s director of transportation. “Downtown Burlington’s annual Free P promotion has been very well received by merchants and visitors alike and we hope this year will be no different.”

Visitors can park their vehicles in on-street parking spaces for free for up to three hours and there is no maximum time limit for vehicles parked at municipal parking lots or at the parking garage at 414 Locust St. Overnight parking in municipal lots is also allowed.
