The Crown says it plans to apply to have a man who sexually assaulted a Canadian Tire employee in St. Catharines declared a dangerous offender.
Forty-two-year-old Kevin Kohl pleaded guilty in a St. Catharines court to four charges, including sexual assault with a weapon, choking and uttering threats. A 19-year-old employee was assaulted after a man asked her for directions to the bathroom last September.
Kohl will return to court in June at which time the crown will make the dangerous offender application, which could mean Kohl could be jailed indefinitely.
