A Brantford teen has been charged after police say he brought a BB-gun onto a school bus.

Brantford Police were called after a member of the public reported seeing a student with a BB-gun near Clarence St. and Sheridan St. around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The student was seen getting onto a school bus.

Officers located the school bus and the teen.

An 18-year-old has been charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

Brantford Police says there was no threat made by the accused to a student, the school or member of the public.
