Niagara police investigating stabbing at a Port Colborne home

Niagara police are investigating a stabbing Saturday that left a 60-year-old victim suffering from serious injuries.

Officers were called to a home in the area of Kinnear St. near Davis St. for reports of a stabbing. They arrived on scene to find a 60-year-old man suffering from serious stab wounds.

Investigation has determined that a verbal argument escalated to violence, resulting in the stabbing.

It is believed that the victim and the suspect were known to each other.
