Hamilton police investigate armed business robbery

Hamilton police are investigating a robbery after suspects entered the Hess Variety convenience while brandishing weapons.

Officers say two suspects entered the establishment at 25 Hess St. North shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Investigators say the suspects demanded the store clerk for merchandise while brandishing weapons.

The victims sustained injuries that were treated by medical professionals.

The suspects were described as Black males, 20 to 25 years old, wearing dark clothing and carrying a green bag.

Police are asking residents around the area to check surveillance footage for any suspicious activity between 10:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.
