2 charged, 3 more wanted in fatal Milton shooting

Halton police have released a photo of a vehicle of interest in hopes of finding three more suspects wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Milton.

Officers were called to a home on Gibson Crescent around 5 a.m. Sunday for a report of gunshots.

Investigators say a group of suspects intended on robbing the house.

A resident confronted the suspects and then a number of gunshots were fired within the home.

Police found one of the male suspects dead, and took a second male suspect and male resident into custody.

Investigators have not yet confirmed the identity of the homicide victim.

Ali Mian, 22, of Milton has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Romario Clarke, 20, of Oshawa is facing one count of break and enter, and another count of unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Both are scheduled to appear in a Milton court on Tuesday.

Officers continue to search for three additional suspects who fled the scene in a white vehicle believed to be a light-coloured Dodge Charger with a sunroof and black wheels.
