Significant 3-month closure coming for Burlington Canal Lift Bridge

Public Services and Procurement Canada released a media advisory on Friday about upcoming closures on the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge for construction work.

The pedestrian and cyclist pathways will be closed from Dec. 28 at 8 a.m. to March 20 at midnight.

The roadway will also be closed from Jan. 5 at midnight to March 20 at 12 a.m.

During these periods, signage will be in place to direct traffic to alternative routes.
