Missing man found dead off coast of Port Dalhousie

The search for a missing man off the coast of Port Dalhousie has ended after he was found dead.

Niagara police says it received a report of a missing man on Sunday. Around 12:00 a.m. on Monday, police located the man in the area he was reported missing.

Police say the 37-year-old is dead after an investigation revealed that a boat was pulling a tube that he was on and eventually overturned. The man fell into the water and never resurfaced.

At this time, Niagara police are not releasing his identity, but they do say he is from Mississauga.
