Halton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a robbery in Oakville nearly two months ago.

Officers say a man was riding his bike on Kerr Street around 9 a.m. on Aug. 28 when he was approached by another man.

Investigators say the suspect suddenly grabbed the bike’s handlebars and attempted to pull the victim from the bike in an effort to steal it.

The suspect wasn’t able to steal the bike, but police say he did steal the victim’s sunglasses before running from the scene towards Stewart Street.
