Hamilton police search for Shoppers Drug Mart robbery suspect

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Stoney Creek.

On Aug. 16  at around 10:10 a.m., officers say a man entered the Shoppers Drug Mart at Eastgate Square and began stealing medication from store shelves.

Investigators say when confronted by employees, the suspect took out a knife and threatened staff before leaving the store with stolen merchandise. He was last seen leaving the mall’s east parking lot on foot.

Detectives are asking anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the incident to come forward.
