No injuries after Beamsville garage fire, $250K in damages

Lincoln Fire says a garage blaze in Beamsville has left nobody injured and estimated damages of $250,000.

Crews say they received the call at 12:04 a.m. on Wednesday for a fire on Merritt Road.

Upon arrival, firefighters say the attached two-car garage was fully engulfed in flames. Crews quickly managed to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading.

Fire crews say the blaze did breach the attached home but the only damage to the home was smoke and water.

Fire officials say residents were alerted and exited the building safely. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
