To enhance community safety, the City of Hamilton is doing road resurfacing work on the downward lanes of the Claremont Access.

The city says there will be road closures as a result, which are set to begin at 8 p.m. on Friday and reopen around 8 p.m. on Saturday, weather permitting.

City officials say this project and other road work will renew aging infrastructure, improve how people and goods move throughout the city and help ensure Hamilton’s roads remain safe and reliable for residents and businesses.

The City of Hamilton says wherever possible, it coordinates this work to reduce the impact on the community.

Drivers are encouraged to consider an alternate route and allow extra time for travel as traffic delays are expected in the area.
