Hamilton police seek witnesses to Sunday afternoon collision

Hamilton police are seeking witnesses to a Sunday afternoon collision that sent a 78-year-old man to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers say they were called to Pritchard Road — south of Mud Street — just before 2:30 p.m.

Investigators determined the driver of a Volkswagen crossed the centre line and struck a Ford Explorer.

The Volkswagen driver, a Hamilton man, was brought to hospital with serious injuries.

The occupants of the Ford — a 75-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman — were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hamilton police.
