A day to celebrate the contributions of workers in the city will be held at Bayfront Park in Hamilton this morning.

The annual Labour Day Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. and will winds its way from Bay Street North and Stuart Street to the Bayfront for a picnic from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) in the Niagara area is holding its Labour Day parade in St. Catharines.

The invitation is open to all PSAC members in the region.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. and moves from 124 Bunting Rd. to the Merritton Community Centre.
