A house fire in Burlington’s north end has left nobody injured and about $200,000 worth of damages.
On Saturday at 7:45 p.m., fire crews responded to a residential structure fire on Glover Lane.
Upon arrival, crews were met with smoke and flames and determined the fire had started in the garage.
Fire officials report two people were inside the home, prompting a response of 25 personnel and eight emergency vehicles for a duration of six hours.
Crews say the suspected cause of the blaze is electrical failure.
Residents are being reminded to avoid overloading a circuit with “octopus outlets”.
The Office of the Fire Marshal has been contacted.
