Hamilton police clear suspicious package on Upper Ottawa Street
The Hamilton police bomb squad has determined that a suspicious package is safe after an investigation on the Hamilton Mountain.
On Tuesday shortly after 11 a.m., officers were called to an address on Upper Ottawa Street after a resident reported what was described as a potentially concerning item that had come into their possession.
Detectives say it had no explosive components. The investigation was cleared along with the road closures.
Police say there are no reported injuries.
