Hamilton police close stretch of Glencarry Avenue for barricaded person

Hamilton police have closed a stretch of Glencarry Avenue on Thursday as officers deal with a barricaded person.

Officers tell CHCH News that the incident began at 9:29 a.m.

The area of Glencarry Avenue is closed from Central Avenue to Lucerne Avenue.

People are being advised to avoid the area as police continue their investigation.
