Man charged with careless driving after crashing into Thorold home

Police have charged a 28-year-old man with careless driving and driving a motor vehicle without a license following a crash in Thorold.

On Tuesday at around 4:35 p.m., officers say a single vehicle lost control and collided with a home on Richmond Street.

Police say there are no reported injuries and believe the cause of the collision is a suspected mechanical failure.

Roads in the area were closed as a result but have since reopened.
