OPP seeking suspect in assault at Hagersville business

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an assault at a business in Hagersville.

Last Friday, officers received a report of an assault that happened at a business on Main Street North.

Investigators say that around 11:00 p.m., two unknown people entered the business and one of them committed an assault towards a victim inside the store.

The individual police are looking to identify is described to be an Indigenous male between the ages of 14 and 19 and weighs around 140 lb.

Officers say the suspect has black hair with bangs, silver reading glasses and was wearing a black hooded sweater.
