Niagara police partners with Wendy’s in Summer Safety Giveaway

Police are promoting summer safety in the region of Niagara at select Wendy’s locations by giving away 500 free kids’ bike helmets.

On Thursday, Niagara police teamed up with Wendy’s for their annual Summer Safety Giveaway.

The bike helmet giveaway began at 11 a.m. while supplies lasted. Officers were also on site to give children a tour of a police cruiser.

The event took place at three Wendy’s locations across the region. The participating locations included the Lake Street location in St. Catharines, the Niagara Street restaurant in Welland and the Wendy’s on Garrison Road in Fort Erie.
