Downed trees close several roads in Brant County, Brantford

Several roads in the Brant County and Brantford area remain closed Thursday morning due to downed trees and hydro wires from Wednesday’s powerful storm.

Ontario Provincial Police say at least eight roads are blocked including 5th Concession at Wight Road and Mount Pleasant Road between Burtch Road and Russell Street.

Drivers are being asked to proceed with extreme caution or to ideally avoid these routes until further notice.
