Police investigating after woman struck by vehicle in Grimsby

Niagara police are investigating after a woman was hit by a vehicle in Grimsby Monday morning.

Officers say the woman experienced serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Niagara EMS say they were called just before 9 a.m. and the woman was found suffering from a head injury.

Authorities have closed the area near the intersection of Nelles Road South and Kennedy Road for an investigation.

Detectives say the woman was brought to the hospital.

Investigators say they are working to determine a cause.
