19-year-old found dead near Aberdeen Ave. deemed ‘non-suspicious’: Hamilton police

Hamilton police say the death of a 19-year-old man found near Aberdeen Avenue early Saturday morning is not suspicious.

Officers say they attended the area of Aberdeen Avenue and Longwood Avenue South for a call for service.

Upon arrival, authorities found a 19-year-old Hamilton man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say the coroner is still investigating, but police have deemed the death non-suspicious “pending the results of a post-mortem examination.”

Authorities are not providing any further details about the incident out of respect for the family.
