Leaders deliver bold messages on global tensions at WEF

Things are heating up in Davos, the second day of the World Economic Forum is bringing sharp rhetoric, bold declarations, and a reminder that sometimes it’s not just what leaders say, but how they show up that gets people talking.

There’s been a busy schedule Tuesday of presidents, prime ministers, CEO’s and other world leaders, all converging at a time of global uncertainty.

One of the starkest speeches came from Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who said the days of a rules-based international order are over.

A lot of discussion around how exactly to handle a very rapidly changing world order, much of the change spearheaded by the United States but for all that talk, one thing has been missing from the World Economic Forum, President Trump himself.

Trump’s expected to arrive Wednesday and hold his special address at around 8:30 am EST.
