One person safely airlifted to hospital after fall on Niagara Escarpment

One person was airlifted to hospital Wednesday afternoon after a fall in the Beamer Memorial Conservation Area in Grimsby.

Niagara West Fire and Emergency Services, and Niagara Emergency Medical Services were called to the conservation area at around 12:15 p.m. to help someone who had fallen between three and four metres.

The person was then transported by Ornge Air Ambulance to hospital.

First responders did not provide the identity of the person, or the extent of their injuries.
