There’s no change in Canada’s unemployment rate.
With the addition of just 7700 jobs, it stayed at 7.3 percent last month. This follows two strong months of employment growth that saw 140,000 jobs added in March and April, the biggest two-month labour market expansion in thirty years. Ontario’s minister of economic development and innovation, Brad Duguid, says we are on the right track but unfortunately we’re still negatively impacted by America’s slow economy.
