Police: Tory foot came from Montreal

Police have now confirmed that the two human body parts found in Ottawa came from Montreal, and that Montreal police are now taking over the investigation.

A human foot was delivered in a box to Conservative party headquarters in Ottawa yesterday; then a few hours later police found a second package containing a human hand at a Canada Post terminal.

Police haven’t yet confirmed whether these body parts are linked to the torso of a man that was found in a suitcase in a Montreal dumpster. The body parts will be tested today to see if they came from the same person and if that person was alive when they were severed.

Investigators think they may be able to identify a suspect later today.
