Woman charged with impaired driving following crash in Hagersville

A 32-year-old woman has been charged after she allegedly crashed into another vehicle while driving impaired in Hagersville.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to a collision on Main St. North shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday.

Officers say a witness saw a vehicle hit a pickup truck that was parked and unattended.

After further investigation, OPP charged Michelle Irene Power of Selkirk with driving a motor vehicle while impaired and driving a motor vehicle with more than 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.

The accused is expected to appear in a Cayuga court at a later date.
