Search continues for father accused of taking daughters out of province

Niagara Regional Police Service has released a new image of a St. Catharines man accused of abducting his two daughters.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued earlier this week for 46-year-old Clayton Misener.

Misener is wanted for disobey order the court and abduction in contravention of custody.

Back in August, police launched an investigation in relation to a custody dispute.

On Aug. 20, police allege Misener illegally left the province with his 12-year-old daughters, Paige and Alexandra.

Police believe the girls are in the company of their father and are not in danger.

Investigators say Misener may be operating a grey Toyota Corolla with Ontario licence plate number CSWH 819.

The trio may be in the Nova Scotia area, according to police.
