Wynne pushes enhanced pensions

The Premier’s push for an enhanced Canada Pension Plan continued Thursday. Kathleen Wynne was talking pensions again in Brampton. She says if changes aren’t made, we could see financial disaster for many retirees in the future. She says CPP enhancement is the first choice. But if at the end of the day that doesn’t work she believes it’s the government’s responsibility to look at what the implications would be of having our own Ontario Pension Plan.

With pensions being a hot topic amongst politicians, we decided to find out if 20 and 30 something’s are even thinking about retirement. As Kate Carnegie reports, it seems a lot of today’s young professionals are focusing on “the now” and not “the future.”
