Elderly man hit by truck in Stoney Creek

A 93-year old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a truck in Stoney Creek.

Hamilton Police say the man was having a new roof installed on his home on Saturday near Highway 8, when one of the contractors driving a pick-up truck backed up in the driveway and hit him.

Police are asking any witnesses to come forward.
