GO train death

Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a GO train in Mississauga early Sunday morning.

Peel Police say the 27-year-old man was walking by himself along the tracks around 1 in the morning near Dixie and Lakeshore Road when he was hit and killed by a westbound train.

Investigators are treating his death as accidental. His name has not been released.
