Road2Hope marathon gets a boost

Storm damage from last week forced the cancellation of the New York city marathon over the weekend which contributed to a bigger participation in the Hamilton Road2Hope Marathon.

The Road 2 Hope marathon falls on the same day that the New York City marathon was scheduled to take place.

34 hundred people were registered for the Hamilton marathon but after NYC cancelled it’s marathon on Friday night, the Road 2 Hope opened up an additional 200 spots. With the New York race cancelled, the road 2 hope is the final North American qualifier for the Boston marathon.
