The Ontario Lottery Corporation has announced a resolution to the disputed $50 million lotto max jackpot from the December 31st draw.
Two claimant groups from Bell Canada in Scarborough, numbering 30 people in total, have agreed to split the prize 30 ways.
However, only the original 19 will get their money Monday.
They’ll each receive one-point-six million dollars.
OLG says that a legal challenge by the additional claimants is beyond the scope of its prize claim investigation process.
So it will be up to the courts to decide how much the additional claimants will be paid.
