Toronto man charged after baby’s death

A 33-year-old Toronto man originally from Guelph has a court date today after the death of a 7-week-old baby back in 2012.

The unidentified man that police say was known to the victim has been charged with second-degree murder after an investigation into the death of the baby, who was found without vital signs the morning of August 21, 2012.

While first responders were able to revive the baby, the child died the next day at McMaster Children’s Hospital.
