Election sign gets attention of city

A Burlington man is furious after being told he has to remove a home made sign from his front lawn. Mount Forest Drive is where the sign still stands — even though the home owner’s been ordered to take it down.

This sign is causing a big stir in the neighbourhood. 60-year old Louis Magyar put it up three weeks ago and was shocked to get a visit from the city by law officer on Sunday telling him to take it down or else.

You could see this sign popping up in a neighbourhood near you over the next six days.

And this isn’t the first time Magyar has used his sign — he said he had it up for the entire election campaign in 2011 and had no complaints about it then.
