Big pasta donation

Hamilton Food Share just got their hands on 5,000 pounds of pasta.

The donation by Catelli Foods translates to about 37,000 servings of pasta. It will be distributed to food banks and hot meal lines.

Resource development director Rachel O’Reilly says “each month in Hamilton, more than 17,000 people go to a food bank. Of those served, 6,000 are children, and this donation will go a long way to feed the many people.”

Summer is generally the slowest month for food banks.
