A one year old injured german shepherd found in Thorold yesterday is making progress in her recovery.

Video was posted on Facebook by the Lincoln County Humane Society along with a note saying Tyson has calmed down after undergoing emergency surgery last night.

Someone in Thorold found the dog wandering yesterday and she was immediately rushed to a St Catharines veterinarian. It’s believed the dog may have been attacked by coyotes or other dogs.

The Lincoln County Humane Society is now looking for Tyson’s owner, or anyone who may have witnessed the attack. Anyone with information is asked to call 905-682-0767.
