Fonthill fire

Thick smoke could be seen in Niagara Friday afternoon after a shed fire in Fonthill.

The flames were fueled by strong winds and sent thick black smoke into the air. The burning shed was on Lookout Street near Highway 20. A passerby noticed the smoke and called 911. The small building housed computer equipment and other gear for the cell tower next door. Investigators are still hunting for a cause.
