US prosecutors announced that they’ve laid murder charges against former Cuban president Raúl Castro in connection with two civilian planes operated by Miami-based exiles in 1996. The attack killed four people, and Fidel Castro’s brother was the country’s defence minister at the time of the shoot-down. The latest indictment follows the American imprisonment of former Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro.
