VIDEO: Premier Doug Ford is backtracking on the province’s $28-point-9 million dollar private jet purchase after facing immediate scrutiny from opposition parties, advocacy groups, and the public. Ford announced Sunday he’s working with bombardier and other partners to “sell the plane as quickly as possible.” The premier’s office said last Friday the plane would be used for official travel within Ontario and to the United States to deal with tariffs. Opposition party leaders were quick to call it out of touch and now that the province has decided to sell it, they’re pressing for answers.
