Conservatives remain confident in Poilievre after Liberals secure majority

VIDEO: Since November five members of Canada’s parliament have defected to the Liberal Party and following the three byelections on Monday, Prime Minister Mark Carney has now locked in a majority within the House of Commons. Good news if you’re the Prime Minister, bad news if you’re the official opposition. Despite the less than ideal position Tory Leader Pierre Poilievre has found himself in, his party members still have full confidence in his ability to lead.
