Tim Hortons says it will temporarily stop accepting reusable cups brought in by customers amid concerns about the coronavirus outbreak.

Plans to give away 1.8 reusable cups for free as part of the Roll Up the Rim contest has also been put on hold until later this year. The company says it will still honour the three digital rolls if a customer brings in a reusable cup as part of the contest, however the drink will be given in a paper cup.

Health officials have not recommend any changes, but Tim Hortons says it is making the
change after listening to its restaurant owners and comments from customers.
