Ontario Premier Doug Ford wrapped up a two-day trip to Washington Tuesday afternoon.

On Tuesday, Ford told CBS News he’s willing to put American beer and liquor back on Ontario shelves if a deal on the Canada-U.S.-Mexico trade agreement is renewed.

Ford was meeting with legislators, business leaders and American media to push what he calls “Fortress North America.”

This plan calls for further integration of the Canadian, American and Mexican economies.

This move comes before the mandatory review of CUSMA takes place and while U.S. President Donald Trump is again calling for Canada to become the 51st state.

Political analyst Keith Leslie joined Emily Tayler to speak about what Ford’s meeting means for Ontario and future CUSMA negotiations.
