Spring must-haves for when the kids start playing outside again

With spring comes the inevitable showers, warmer temperatures, and for little ones it also means lots more time spent playing outside. Lifestyle expert Nneka Elliott was here with some spring must haves for children.

Tuffo Muddy Buddy

Waterproof coveralls. Wear outdoors in the rain, for jumping in muddy puddles or even for arts and crafts.

Bimoo Colouring Tablecloth

Speaking of arts and crafts, here’s an outdoor idea for creative play. Lay this cloth out on the garage, on the back deck or even the grass or sand. Just wash and reuse.

A good shovel and bucket

This outdoor favourite equals hours of pouring, scooping and collecting fun. Water, mud, sand stones and everything in between. Toys R Us has different sizes with lots of different accessories.

Trendy Spring hat

In addition to the rubber boots, spring coats don’t forget a good spring hat. You’ll be spending more time outside and the sun’s intensity is starting to build. Here are some cute options from Zara and H&M. Look for a brim with good coverage but not something that will hinder vision.
