Tomorrow is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. With the troubled past in Canadian history, these can make for some difficult conversations, but they are important to have, which is why we have our Parenting Panel here to discuss it.

Julie Cole, parenting author and a mom of six, as well as WhiteEagle, a community leader, Indigenous elder and both a mother and grandmother shared their stories of how we can raise kids to be good allies.

WhiteEagle is hosting an event tomorrow, along with Amber Kakiishiway, to honour the ones who never made it home. The Walk Home will take place at Spencer Smith Park from 2pm-5pm.
